Fair Campaign Practices

The stated purpose of CA’s Fair Campaign Practices code is “to give voters guidelines in determining fair play and to encourage candidates to discuss issues instead of untruths or distortions.”

Similar to the last election, each of our city council and treasurer candidates have signed the pledge. Will they uphold their signed agreement to “publicly repudiate” “character defamation” tactics by members working on their campaigns or in opposition to their opponents?

This is our best path forward
